FAQS

QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IT IS LIKE working together?

Here are some of the most common questions I hear from clients about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, please contact me.

  • I’m in Littleton, Colorado, and work with clients online throughout the state of Colorado.

  • It’s just like in-person therapy, but form the comfort of your own home! A link to the telehealth session will be sent to you via email and text once an appointment is scheduled. Simply click the link at the time of your appointment and we can begin!

  • Yes. After our virtual consultation, in-person is an option at my Littleton office. Most clients prefer a hybrid therapy schedule where they mainly see me in my office and occasionally online. For some clients, online therapy works best due to location and convenience.

  • $140 per 50 minute individual session.

$175 per 50 minute couples session.

  • Length and frequency of therapy appointments vary based upon goals set in therapy. Typically clients see me weekly for the first 8-10 sessions, then do bi-weekly for the course of treatment.

  • Late Cancellation is defined within 24 hours of your session at the time your session is scheduled to begin. For example, if your session is Monday at 10am, you will need to cancel on Sunday before 10am to avoid cancellation fee.

Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in full fee payment for the missed session.

I understand that sometimes things are out of our control or emergency situations happen. Due to this, one waived late cancellation fee will be given each year when these unexpected circumstances occur.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    ● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    ● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

    ● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    ● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
